Thanks for coming to Art in the Bag

Thanks to everyone for coming out to Art in the Bag 2009!

It was a wonderful evening of food, music and art in honor of two very worthy local non-profits - Leap for a Cure and Candlelighters of Omaha.

Thanks to Spencer's for Steaks and Chops for the tastey food and to The River Daddies for their awesome music!

The event was a HUGE another success. But we couldn't do it without all of you.
Thanks Again for your generous hearts!

Art in the Bag is this Friday

Since the last post, we have received several more donations of bags and accessories. You will have to come the event to see for yourself.
Midwest Lampworkers Guild and the planning comittee are very excited about the silent auction.  We have great donations again this year. Come to bid on the fantastic accessories and bags to raise money for our local charities.
Can't wait to see you there!!!!

What a darling four- patch purse with magnetic snap closure.  The purse is in shades of pink Amy Butler fabrics with long shoulder strap for hands free shopping.  This is a great bag for your Kindle or other electronics.

Sandra Holmes' Bag - Color Me Pretty

This colorful bag is made from a durable upholstery fabric, with appliqued ultrasude circles on the front.  The purse is secured with a velcro closure and is a work of "art" by a member of the Omaha Craft Mafia.

Julie Geiger's - Charming Tote

This Calico Patched Tote with braided handle was handmade by Julie Geiger of Prairie Point Juction Quilt Shop in Cozad, NE.  What a fantastic tote to carry all of your things!!!  The color pallet is very shabby chic in soft, earthy colors.
